Rules for Boarders

RULES FOR BOARDERS
The following rules are laid out for the guidance of boarders in addition to the general rules:
1. You should get up at the rising bell and tidy the beds immediately. 
2.  You should not change the place allotted to you in the dormitory, prayer hall, dining hall and study hall. 
3. You are not permitted to go outside the school complex without permission.If you need to go on emergency, you should obtain a pass from your warden/matron.  
4.  If you are sick you should report to the warden/matron and get your name on the sick list and you must shift to the sick room.  
5.  You are not allowed to have guests stay in the hostel. 
6.  The lights in the dormitories will go off at 10.00 p.m. immediately after night checking. Once the lights are off you should not roam around. You should stay in bed.  
7.  Prowling around the other hostel is a serious offence.
8.  You are not allowed to share a bed. 
9.  Councillors and room in-charges are responsible for the cleanliness of their cottages and the surroundings. 
10.  You should attend all meals compulsorily. You should collect meals and sit in the place allotted to you. You are not allowed to take meals in the hostels at all times unless you are sick. 
11.  Two students eating from one plate and two students sitting on one chair is not allowed.
12.  You are not allowed to visit staff quarters at any time.
13.  Visiting the Class IV staff quarters is strictly prohibited.
14.  Once enrolled as boarder, you will not be allowed to study as day student. 

STUDENTS ONCE ENROLLED AS A BOARDER BUT WISHING TO STUDY AS DAY STUDENT NEEDS TO SEEK ADMISSION IN OTHER DAY SCHOOLS ON THEIR OWN.
